Lima, OH (WIMA) - Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey has stated that their office is still actively investigating the human remains case on DNA and evidence found near Grand Lake Saint Mary’s last year.
Officials have received the results from Iso-Forensics on the follow-up testing done on the remains.
Roughly 10% of the human skeleton remodels per year, so they estimate the bone isotope “signal” represents an average of approximately 10 years prior to death.
Sheriff Grey said "there is a family out there who deserves closure and answers.”
