Lima, OH (WIMA) - The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office gave an update on the case where bones of a man were found last year near Grand Lake.
New revelations discussed by Sheriff Jeff Grey said they are certain the man was the victim of a homicide, because the skull was cut off of the body.
Saw marks indicated the dismembering, but the skull has not been found.
Cut marks also indicated that lower portions of the man’s extremities were sawed off.
The Sheriff’s Office is now using a group known as IsoForensics to assist with the case.
