Apartment Drug Fire in Ada

Lima, OH (WIMA) - An upstairs and downstairs apartment in Ada caught on fire on Wednesday afternoon, and officials believe the fire was drug-related.

Ada-Liberty Fire crews along with the Ada Police Department responded to 409 North Main.

The structure was fully engulfed.

No one was injured in the fire except for one fireman who was treated for smoke inhalation.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the occupant of the downstairs apartment had assembled or possessed chemicals for the manufacturing of methanphetamines.

Karen Troglin was arrested for assembly and/or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs.

Further charges are possible.

Troglin was taken to the Multi-County Jail in Marion.
