Additional Primary Results


The Board of Elections reporting only a little over 13-percent of registered voters turned out

to take part in the primary.

Lima 3rd Ward City Council:

Incumbent Jesse Lowe (LOW) will now face a challenge in November from Carla Thompson, who edged out a third candidate in that race, Michael Birchfield.

Sugar Creek Township Renewal:

91 votes for the issue, and just 7 voted against it.

Allen East Schools:

their levy passed 276 to 121.

Perry Township:

saw 2 levies for fire and emergency services pass.

Delphos City Schools:

333 voted for it, 103 voted against it.


In Wapakoneta, a Council at Large position took the top 3 finishers.

They were Chad Dunlap, Terry Campbell, and Daniel Graff.

An additional point-5 percent income tax for street repairs for Wapak voters passed 757 to 372.


The Findlay City School District 4.9 mill for current expenses passed by a heavy margin.


In the city of Van Wert, a point-2-8 percent tax for general operating was defeated 586 votes to 537.
