Lima Man Facing Murder Charges Has Case Pushed Back

Lima, OH (WIMA) - 48-year-old Leo Stapleton waived his right to a speedy trial in Allen County Court on Wednesday.

Stapleton faces a murder charge, with a repeat violent offender specification, and one count of burglary, in the case surrounding the death of 40-year-old Kimberly Clark.

She was found strangled to death inside her apartment on Metcalf Street back in December.

A motion hearing has been set for Stapleton for March 16th and his trial date was also set for May 1st.
