HYSTERIA: Keith Ellison blames the GOP for murdering women and children

In several states, the number of women who die after giving birth has been on the rise for the past 15 years. The uptick in maternal-mortality rates has baffled experts, doctors and healthcare professionals. Many have tied it to the growing opioid crisis and drug overdoses, as well as an unexplainable increase of suicides among women who’ve just given birth.

They have concluded that recent cuts to Planned Parenthood are not the cause — and how could they be? The rates have been increasing for the last 15 years.

But Minnesota Democratic Representative Keith Ellison wants you to know that the experts are wrong. The data is wrong. In reality, Republicans are out there murdering women. Here’s his latest rant, at an event hosted by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee:

Unfortunately, facts and empirical data often don’t pass as truth anymore. The narrative has become truth. And the narrative of the day holds Republicans and Trump as the villains. Villains who are out to harm women by cutting funds to Planned Parenthood, the organization responsible for roughly 300,000 abortions a year.

I would guess that those are pretty harmful, certainly for the child, but also for the mother. But that’s just too much fact to fit his hysterical narrative.
