(Lima, OH)--The number of confirmed cases in Allen County took its biggest jump yet from Saturday to Sunday as six new cases were reported by the Health Department. The total now stands at 33 with 19 hospitalizations. There have been two deaths in the County related to COVID-19.

(COLUMBUS, OH)--OHIO'S DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SAYS THAT MORE THAN 6,600 PEOPLE HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR CORONAVIRUS INFECTION IN THE STATE. ACCORDING TO THE LATEST DATA, RELEASED BY THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT YESTERDAY, 6,604 OHIOANS HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH COVID-19. TO DATE, 253 PEOPLE HAVE DIED FROM COMPLICATIONS RELATED TO THE ILLNESS. MORE THAN 1,900 OHIOANS HAVE BEEN HOSPITALIZED FOR TREATMENT AND, OF THOSE, 595 ARE BEING TREATED IN I-C-U'S AROUND THE STATE. THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN INFECTED RANGE IN AGE FROM YOUNGER THAN ONE TO 101 YEARS OLD.

>>Man shot in leg after night of drinking in Lima
(Lima, OH)--The Allen County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting from Sunday morning at 2221 Diller Road.
The Lima News reports that an unidentified man was shot in the leg and sought treatment at St. Rita’s Medical Center for non-life threatening wounds.
The victim at first told police the incident happened on West Elm Street, but later changed his story and said it took place at the Diller Road home of 46-year old Michael Sheets, who was taken into custody. Charges against Sheets are pending.
Authorities think the shooting took place between 7:00 and 8:00 yesterday morning followingnight of drinking by the two men.

(Lima, OH)--State Route 81 over the Ottawa River approximately two miles east of Lima will close beginning today for a bridge deck replacement. The closure is expected to last through July 2020.

(Undated)--Two of the NBA's current stars went down in defeat in the opening round of the HORSE tournament hosted by the league and ESPN. WNBA sharp-shooter Allie Quigley knocked out Chris Paul after the Thunder guard failed to bank in a shot from the free-throw line, while the retired Chauncey Billups rallied from a three-shot deficit to upset the Hawks' Trae Young. The Bulls' Zach LaVine and Jazz guard Mike Conley also advanced to the semifinals, with LaVine
shutting out former Celtics great Paul Pierce and Conley blanking WNBA Hall of Famer Tamika Catchings. The semifinals and championship of the trick-shot competition will take place Thursday with Billups facing Conley and LaVine taking on Quigley.
>>Ohio State Basketball Program Lands Graduate Transfer Guard From Utah State
(Columbus, OH) -- The Ohio State basketball program is welcoming graduate transfer Abel Porter from Utah State. Porter announced on Twitter over the weekend that he would spend his final year of eligibility with the Buckeyes. Porter, who is six-foot-three and averaged 19-minutes per game over four years at Utah State, is expected to add backcourt depth behind CJ Walker and Duane Washington Jr. Porter was granted an extra year of eligibility due to an injury-shortened freshman year, and his addition means OSU has reached its 13-scholarship limit.
