>>AUTOMAKERS SUSPENDING, GOVERNOR ORDERS MORE CLOSURES

(UNDATED)--FORD, GENERAL MOTORS AND FIAT CHRYSLER ARE SUSPENDING OPERATIONS AT THEIR PLANTS. HONDA ALSO ANNOUNCED IT'LL SHUT DOWN PRODUCTION FOR SIX DAYS STARTING NEXT MONDAY. THIS AFFECTS THE MARYSVILLE AND EAST LIBERTY AUTO PLANTS, AS WELL AS TWO POWER TRAIN PLANTS IN OHIO.

GOVERNOR MIKE DEWINE ANNOUNCED THE CLOSURE OF ALL 181 BUREAU OF MOTOR VEHICLE OFFICES ACROSS THE STATE TO FURTHER INCREASE SOCIAL DISTANCING. ALL 52 DRIVING EXAM LOCATIONS WILL CLOSE AND LAW ENFORCEMENT IS ORDERED NOT TO TICKET THOSE WITH EXPIRED TAGS. NAIL SALONS, HAIR STUDIOS BARBER SHOPS AND TATTOO PARLORS WILL ALSO CLOSE.

DEWINE ALSO ISSUED NEW RECOMMENDATIONS FOR EMPLOYERS, YESTERDAY ASKING THEM TO TAKE THE TEMPERATURE OF EVERY EMPLOYEE AS THE ENTER THE WORKPLACE. THE GOVERNOR SAYS THIS IS ONLY A RECOMMENDATION; IT IS NOT AN HEALTH ORDER.

>>City of Lima Adjusting

(Lima, OH)--The City of Lima has now closed all city buildings to the public. A drop box has been installed at the entrance to the Municipal Building. The drop box can be utilized for things such as completed Building Department applications and registrations, small sets of plans, tax documents, payments, and zoning requests. The drop box will be checked daily.

Also, City Council will continue to hold meetings, but they will be limited to approximately 15 minutes and there will be no privilege of the floor granted. People are encouraged to not attend the meetings but rather watch on GTV2.

>>Mercer Health Discontinues Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing Site

(Celina, OH)--Due to new directives issued today from Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, COVID-19 testing is to now be preserved for hospitalized patients and symptomatic hospital workers. Therefore, Mercer Health’s Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing Center at the Mercer County Fairgrounds will no longer be utilized.

>>Body Pulled From Grand Lake Identified

(Celina, OH)--Tuesday night Celina Police Dispatch received a call of a human body floating in Grand Lake. Yesterday the Celina Police Department announced that an autopsy has confirmed that the body was that of 26-year old Tre Bilger of Celina. He had been missing since February 18th.

>>NBA Weighing Options

(New York, NY)--NBA Commissioner Adam Silver revealed that the league is considering several options during the shutdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic. One idea under consideration would have some players quarantined or isolated for purposes of being able to compete against one another and provide basketball fans with some sort of diversion. ''Maybe it's for a giant fundraiser or just for the collective good of the people,'' Silver said. ''You take a subset of players and is there a protocol in which they can be tested and quarantined and isolated in some way. People are stuck at home. They need a diversion. They need to be entertained.'' Silver offered no predictions on when NBA games would resume.

(Undated)--Kansas will finish the abbreviated 2019-20 men's college basketball season atop the AP Top 25 after receiving 63 of 65 first-place votes in what will be the final poll of the campaign. No. 2 Gonzaga and No. 3 Dayton received one first-place vote, with the Flyers matching their highest national ranking to finish a season in program history.

>>Ohio State Closes Ticketing Offices While Extended Football Ticket Renewal Deadline

(Columbus, OH) -- The Ohio State University is closing down its ticket office temporarily due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. The University announced on Wednesday that ticket office staff would begin working remotely, and fans can order their 2020 football season-tickets and pause opt-in to payment plans online at Ohio-State-Buckeyes-dot-com-backslash-tickets. OSU is also extending the football renewal deadline until April 30th.
