>>Delphos Man Arrested For String of Robberies

(Delphos, OH)--Delphos Police say they have apprehended a suspect from a string of recent burglaries.

Delphos PD has been investigating a rash of thefts from parked motor vehicles in the residential areas in the southeast sector of the city.

On Wednesday morning at 03:25 a.m., a patrolling officer saw a suspicious person walking in the 700 block of E. Suthoff Street. The officer confronted the suspect, when the suspect attempted to flee on foot from the officer. The suspect was chased and taken into custody moments later.

The 20 year old suspect was found to have a handgun concealed on his person. He was taken into custody on a Felony CCW Charge. The recovered firearm was identified as the stolen handgun.

The identity of the suspect will be released once the Criminal Charge are formally filed in Lima Municipal Court this week. The entire case will be reviewed by the next session of the Allen County Grand Jury.

The suspect remains in the Allen County Jail. The investigation continues and no more information is available.

(Lima, OH)--The University of Northwestern Ohio is gearing up to again host the Ohio Future Farmers of America Association’s State Finals in Agricultural Power Diagnostics Contest next Friday.The top 15 high school teams from the state of Ohio will be on campus competing for more than $75,000 in scholarships.

Schools from the region taking part include Versailles and Ben Logan.

>>Basketball Buckeyes Blow Past Cornhuskers In Nebraska

(Lincoln, NE) -- The Ohio State Buckeyes dominated from the opening tip in a 75-54 thrashing of the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Lincoln. The Bucks jumped out to an early 28-12 lead and never looked back in a game OSU controlled every aspect of with relative ease. Kaleb Wesson had one of his best games, recording a double-double with 16-points and 18 rebounds while C.J. Walker added 15 and Duane Washington Junior had 14. The Buckeyes will have a short rest before they return to Value City Arena on Sunday to host Michigan at 4 p.m.

(Ann Arbor, MI) -- Number 22 Michigan saw its five-game winning streak come to an end with an 81-74 loss to unranked Wisconsin at Crisler Center. Zavier Simpson led all scorers with a career high 32 points and Franz Wagner had 17 points for the Wolverines. UM is now 18-and-10 overall and 9-and-8 in the Big Ten.

(Columbus, OH) -- The Columbus Blue Jackets are back on home ice tonight ready for a rematch with the Minnesota Wild. The CBJ and Wild met last Tuesday in a game that saw nine-goals scored and Columbus on the short end of a 5-4 score. Minnesota will enter the contest off a win over Detroit on Thursday, and the Jackets will hope to capitalize on some tired legs. Puck drop tonight from Nationwide Arena is scheduled for 7 p.m.
