>>Land Bank Acquires Two Properties
(Lima, OH)--Allen County Auditor Rachel Gilroy announced that the Allen County Land Bank has acquired two properties in Lima at 528 and 537 West Grand Avenue. The Land Bank will demolish the homes currently on those properties and prepare them for future development. To date, the Land Bank has demolished 70+ homes in and around Lima, furthering its mission to remove blighted structures from the community.

POLICE RECORDS SHOW DILLY WAS NOT REPORTED MISSING UNTIL NEARLY TWO DAYS AFTER HIS PARENTS LAST SAW HIM. HIS FATHER ALSO SAID THE BOY WAS LIVING WITH ADHD AND AUTISM. HE SAYS HE DIDN'T CALL POLICE RIGHT AWAY BECAUSE HARLEY OFTEN LEFT AND DIDN'T COME BACK UNTIL THE NEXT MORNING.
DILLY'S DEATH HAS BEEN RULED ACCIDENTAL AFTER HE WAS FOUND TRAPPED IN A CHIMNEY AT A HOME NEAR HIS PARENTS HOUSE.
AGENTS WITH COLUMBUS HUMANE CONTINUE THEIR INVESTIGATION INTO A POSSIBLE CASE OF PET POISONING.
BOTH COLUMBUS HUMANE AND THE FRANKLIN COUNTY DOG SHELTER REPORT SEPARATE CASES OF SUSPECTED POISONING OF DOGS. BOTH CASES COME FROM THE NORTH LINDEN AREA. THE DOG SHELTER SAYS AFTER HEARING ABOUT THESE TWO CASES, THEIR STAFF SEARCHED ITS FILES AND FOUND 11 SIMILAR CASES.

(Lima, OH)-- The Lima Symphony Chorus will be holding auditions for new members on Monday from 6 PM-7:30 PM at the Market Street Presbyterian Church, located at 1100 West Market Street in Lima.
The Lima Symphony Chorus is a select symphony chorus consisting of 70-80 talented singers from Lima and surrounding areas. The chorus presents works for chorus and orchestra in collaboration with the Lima Symphony Orchestra. The Lima Symphony Chorus is open to all by audition. There are no membership fees.

(Ft. Wayne, IN)--The UNOH Racers picked up its first road win of the season. Nathan Lessing led the way for UNOH with 20 points, 12 coming in the second half, while Elijah Pughsley had 11. UNOH has won three of its last four games to move to 6-15 overall and 3-9 in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference. They will host #22 Madonna Saturday afternon.

(Ada, OH)--Ohio Northern battled back from a 12-point second half deficit, but a basket with 12 seconds left gave Otterbein an 81-79 Ohio Athletic Conference men's basketball victory on Wednesday evening at the ONU Sports Center. The Polar Bears fall to 6-10 overall and 2-7 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. Landen Long led the Polar Bears with 22 points and C.J. Napier chipped in with 18. The Polar Bears are at Capital Saturday afternoon.

(Bluffton, OH)--Bluffton fell to 8-8 overall and 4-5 in the Heartland Conference despite 11 points and 12 rebounds from Bath grad Andrew Renner. The Beavers are Rose-Hulman Saturday.

(Ann Arbor, MI) -- Michigan’s losing streak reached three with a 72-63 loss to Penn State. Lima Senior product Xavier Simpson led the Wolverines with 18 points and 6 assists. U-of-M, is 11-7 overall and 2-5 in the Big Ten. The Wolverines host Illinois on Saturday.

(Dayton, OH) -- The Dayton Flyers continued their domination of the A-10 with an 86-60 blowout win over the St. Bonaventure Bonnies at UD Arena. The Flyers are now alone at the top of the conference with a 6-0 record. Dayton will next play on Saturday at Richmond.
