>>Multi-County Chase Ends in Lima
(Lima, OH)--The Ohio State Highway Patrol was involved in a multi-county chase late Tuesday night that came to an end in Lima at exit 125.
The Patrol the pursuit began just before 11:00 p.m. as the Toledo Police were attempting to pull over a 2000 Hurricane RV, which was occupied by a subject with a felony warrant.
The Highway Patrol then took up the chase which traversed over 60 miles in Wood, Hancock and Allen Counties. The top speed of the pursuit was 80 miles per hour.All the tires on the RV except the left rear were deflated by spike strips set out by Troopers from the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.The driver pulled over on his own near mile post 125 in Lima, where he was taken into custody after a brief standoff.
The driver was identified Larry D. Keith Jr., 38 years of age, of Maryville, Tennessee.He is now being held in the Wood County Justice Center on charges of failure to comply and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

(Lima, OH)--Early Sunday morning Lima Police apprehended a gun wielding man at the Travelodge on South Leonard Avenue. They responded to a call of a man with a gun and then heard a gunshot as they approached the lobby of the hotel. Despite that the man was taken into custody without further incident and Lima Police Chief Kevin Martin told us that his officers showed a high level of skill in not escalating the situation.

(Lima, OH)--Meanwhile, the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force remains busy. The Task Force issued a notice yesterday of its latest drug bust in Lima. It was Thursday at 106 North Roberts Avenue. Authorities served a drug related search warrant and found drug paraphernalia, multiple firearms, U.S. Currency, suspected heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, and prescription pills. 41-year old Chad A. Campbell was taken into custody for Suspicion of Possession of Cocaine at the scene and later released pending further investigation. Charges are expected to be presented to the Allen County Grand Jury at a later date.

(Cleveland, OH) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers return home to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse tonight for a game with the Houston Rockets. Cleveland has dropped seven in a row following a blowout loss to Boston on Monday night. This will be the Rockets only trip to Cleveland this season with a team that features the NBA's leading scorer James Harden and perennial All-Star Russell Westbrook.
