>>Wapakoneta MAN struck by train
Wapakoneta Police do not suspect foul play in the death of 42-year old Kevin Ridenour.
He was found early Friday near railroad tracks in downtown Wapakoneta. Police say it’s likely the man was struck by a passing train as his injuries are consistent with those you would expect. Police said while an investigation into the incident is ongoing they don’t suspect foul play.
The Auglaize County Coroner says an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
AUTHORITIES SAY A 16-YEAR-OLD BOY IS IN CUSTODY FOR THE STABBING DEATH OF HIS MOTHER IN LOGAN COUNTY. SHERIFF RANDALL DODDS SAYS 36-YEAR-OLD CRYSTAL CAUDILL WAS KILLED FRIDAY MORNING IN DE GRAFF. DODDS SAYS CAUDILL RAN TO A NEIGHBOR'S HOME AFTER BEING STABBED AND TOLD SHERIFF'S DEPUTIES SHE'D BEEN ATTACKED BY HER SON. SHE DIED AT A HOSPITAL.
THE BOY WAS ARRESTED AFTER CALLING 9-1-1 IN NEIGHBORING CHAMPAIGN COUNTY. DODDS SAYS THE TEEN WILL BE CHARGED AFTER INVESTIGATORS CONSULT WITH PROSECUTORS AND WILL LIKELY APPEAR IN JUVENILE COURT THIS WEEK.
A CORONER’S REPORT SAYS THE MAN BEHIND THE MASS SHOOTING IN DAYTON WAS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF COCAINE AND OTHER SUBSTANCES THE NIGHT HE OPENED FIRE.
IN ADDITION TO COCAINE, THE CORONER SAID TESTS ALSO SHOWED CONNOR BETTS WAS TAKING MEDICATION FOR ANXIETY AND PANIC DISORDER. THERE WAS ALSO ALCOHOL IN HIS SYSTEM.

It’s Youth Day today at the Allen County Fair. Special Youth Day activities are scheduled for 2:00 this afternoon in Roschman Park. Tonight’s main event in the grandstand is the Demolition Derby. Saturday night’s Kane Brown concert was a huge success. Fair manager Bob Fricke posted on Facebook that the event set a Fair attendance record.

>>Reds Drop Series Finale With Cardinals
(Cincinnati, OH) -- The Cincinnati Reds dropped the finale of a four-game series 5-4 to the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals rattled off five unanswered runs before the Reds rallied for three late-inning scores, including a two-run single from Tucker Barnhart in the ninth. Cincinnati starter Alex Wood struck out six but gave up all five St. Louis runs to take his second loss of the year. The Reds will begin a new series tonight then they welcome in the San Diego Padres to Great American Ball Park.
>>Indians Win In The Bronx To Earn Series Split
(Bronx, NY) -- The Cleveland Indians got a big performance from the bench as the Tribe downed the New York Yankees 8-4 in the Bronx. Playing in place of a resting Jose Ramirez, third baseman Mike Freeman went three for four at the plate, with three RBIs, a home run, and two doubles. Starter Mike Clevinger handcuffed the Yankees over five innings of shutout ball and struck out ten batters for good measure. Cleveland will take tonight off before jumping on the subway to open a series with the New York Mets on Tuesday in Queens.

Justin Thomas won the BMW Championship to claim the No. 1 seed entering next week's FedEx Cup finale in Atlanta. Thomas recorded a three-shot win over Patrick Cantlay, who'll be seeded second for the season-ending Tour Championship.

Will Power earned his first IndyCar Series victory of the season, extending his streak of consecutive seasons with at least one victory to 13 as he took the checkered flag at Sunday’s ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway.
It’s the third time in four years he’s won at Pocono.
The NTT IndyCar Series gets back to racing this week at Gateway near St. Louis.
