>>Jackson Center Escapes WORTH Center
(Lima, OH)--23 year old Sean Carr of Jackson Center escaped from the WORTH Center around 10:00 last night and remained at large for over three hours before surrendering peacefully to police near I-75 and Bluelick Road at 1:20 this morning.
Lima Police and the Allen County Sheriff’s Department flooded the area in pursuit of Carr and considered calling in air support from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Turns out that by the time a chopper could be marshalled the escapee was found.
Social Media posts claim Carr may have been motivated by grief as it has been reported that Carr’s young son had passed away yesterday.
Carr is currently being held in the Allen County Jail.

THE TOLEDO BLADE REPORTS THAT THE VOTE ON THE CONTRACT BETWEEN MERCY HEALTH ST. VINCENT MEDICAL CENTER AND THE UNION MEMBERS WAS DELAYED DUE TO “MISINFORMATION" ABOUT THE AGREEMENT.
A UNION STATEMENT ALLEGES THAT LOCAL UNION REPRESENTATIVES WERE NOT INFORMED THAT A MEETING ON THE AGREEMENT WOULD TAKE PLACE WEDNESDAY NIGHT, MEANING MANY OF THE NURSES WERE NOT ABLE TO LEARN ABOUT THE TERMS OF THE CONTRACT BEFORE A VOTE SCHEDULED FOR YESTERDAY AND TODAY.
THE UNION NOW PLANS TO HOLD INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS FOR ITS MEMBERSHIP SATURDAY BEFORE A RATIFICATION VOTE NOW SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY AND TUESDAY.
