So, with the new year now here, I usually take a look back at the previous year, and as always, I'm looking to make this year a much better year.
I guess 2013 wasn't that bad.
Health wise, I did pretty well. Faith, family, friends, and having employment and a roof over my head were all there.
However, in the latter part of the year, cancer claimed the lives of two of my former colleagues and friends.
And, the way the Ohio State football season came to an end was a bit of a downer.
So, as the old phrase goes, "you live and you learn".
I still would like to catch up more often to friends I don't get to see very often, instead of just seeing them at parents or grandparents funerals.
I will attempt to be better in all aspects of my life: a broadcaster, a reporter, a brother, an uncle, a son, a nephew, a cousin, a friend, a colleague, a Christian, and a human being.
Here's hoping that you make 2014 the greatest year of your life.
