Nearly two weeks ago, a pro-Trump rally at Berkeley turned violent due to the anti-fascist group called Antifa. Who are these people? Antifa, originally formed in Germany in the 1980s, takes the name of the communist paramilitary groups that engaged the Nazis in street-fighting in the 1930s.
“Their job was to be a paramilitary force,” Glenn explained Tuesday on radio. “They were to take the streets and fight and combat the fascists. They were . . . meant to bring intimidation to the intimidators. Their ranks included the communists, the anarchists and the leftists.”

The goal in Berkeley was to shut down any conservative or capitalist thought — and they nearly did it.
“Have you seen the videos of the riots on YouTube? Berkeley looked like a war zone.”
