Cupp Sponsors Stroke Ready Awareness Designations for Hospitals

Lima, OH (WIMA) -- State Representative Bob Cupp of Lima said this week that the Ohio House has passed legislation that gives the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) the ability to recognize Ohio hospitals that demonstrate a high level of care and readiness for stroke victims.

Under the designations established by House Bill 464, which Cupp co-sponsored, hospitals would be eligible to be recognized for varying degrees of stroke readiness.

The legislation now goes to the Ohio Senate for further consideration.
