Crop Dusting Plane Makes Emergency Landing

Mercer Co, OH (from OSHP Report) -- A crop-dusting plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Mercer County on Thursday afternoon.

The Wapak Post of the State Patrol reports that the pilot, 61 year-old Roger Trump of Greenville, lost power and had complete engine failure while he was in the process of applying chemicals to a field.

Trump was able to make that emergency landing in a field near Erastus-Durbin and Rockford West Roads.

The aircraft sustained minimal damage, and Trump was not hurt..

The FAA will investigate the incident.
