Lima, OH (WIMA) -- On Thursday of last week, deputies were dispatched to the 600 block of Yorkshire Drive in reference to a burglary in progress.
The homeowner, who was not at home, was alerted by his security system.
Sheriff's Deputies saw a suspect leaving from the front door of the house.
41 year-old Rafael Arciga Perez of Lima was caught, and had criminal tools, and a large amount of U.S. and foreign currency believed to have been taken from the home.
It is not believed Arciga-Perez had any personal relationship with the homeowners.
