>>Latest Violence Seems To Be Related To Past Incidents

(Lima, OH)--You may recall the name of Deontray Forrest from an incident from just over a month ago. In the early morning hours of December 21st, Forrest was treated at St. Rita’s for gunshot wounds after a shooting at 574 Hazel Avenue. That shooting had closely followed a residence being fired upon at 509 Elmwood Place.

Police are working from the assumption that the triple homicide is connected to activity from that night and is part of an ongoing pattern of violent crime that has hit the city over the last three months. It is presumed to be drug related as well.
