Van Wert, OH (WIMA) -- Van Wert City Schools in conjunction with The Van Wert City Police Department and the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office were involved in an investigation concerning a potential social media threat.

No credible threat of violence was discovered, but, the Van Wert Times-Bulletin reports that charges of Aggravated Menacing have been filed on a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old, and they are both expected to make an appearance in Juvenile Court.
Superintendent Vicki Brunn thanked law enforcement for their quick response.
