Former Shawnee Schools Employee Facing Theft Charges

Lima, OH (WIMA) -- A former employee of the Shawnee Local School District is facing theft charges for allegedly stealing more than $56,000 from the district and a booster organization.

State Auditor Dave Yost's office said an Allen County grand jury indicted Kimberly Hall earlier this month on single counts of theft in office, grand theft, and money laundering.

Hall was a secretary at Shawnee Middle School, a facilities administrative assistant, and a treasurer of the Shawnee Baseball Boosters Association.

An investigation by the Auditor of State’s Public Integrity Assurance Team discovered the stolen monies.
