Lima, OH (WIMA) - Allen County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to Bath High School on Wednesday night regarding a firearm discharge inside the school.
49 year-old Garry Tabler was attending a basketball referee’s meeting at the school when the firearm in his coat pocket accidentally went off.
It is not believed there was any criminal intent in firing the weapon, but Tabler was arrested for possession of a firearm inside of a school.
No injuries were reported.
