Lima, OH (WIMA) - Lima Mayor Dave Berger and challenger Keith Cheney took center stage at the downtown Crouse Performance Hall for a debate open to the public.
They fielded questions from a panel of media and business representatives.
The landlord registration proposal and cost issue for tenants was brought up.
Cheney took the question first.
Mayor Berger responded, defending his administration's proposal.
Other issues covered included safety, use of body cameras by police, business development, downtown growth, as well as getting a more diverse city work force.
