Delphos Man's Trial Delayed

Lima, OH (WIMA) - A JUDGE HAS DELAYED THE TRIAL FOR A DELPHOS MAN CHARGED ALONG WITH ANOTHER MAN IN THE FATAL SHOOTING OF A FORMER COAL EXECUTIVE IN SOUTHERN WEST VIRGINIA.

THE CHARLESTON GAZETTE-MAIL REPORTS THAT A JUDGE GRANTED A MOTION FROM THE ATTORNEY FOR 22-YEAR-OLD ANTHONY ARRIAGA OF DELPHOS ASKED FOR THE DELAY.

THE NEW START DATE IS NOW OCTOBER 16th INSTEAD OF THIS MONDAY.

ARRIAGA AND A KENTUCKY MAN, 19-YEAR-OLD BRANDON FITZPATRICK, ARE CHARGED WITH MURDER IN THE DEATH OF BEN HATFIELD IN MAY OF LAST YEAR, AS HATFIELD WAS VISITING HIS WIFE'S GRAVE SITE.
