Lima, Ohio (WIMA) - Lima City Council of the whole met on Monday night for the 2nd Public Hearing and review of this year’s C-D-B-G proposed allocations.

Money is down this year- as it has been in the past- due to the city not receiving as much money from the government.

Sixteen out of twenty proposed allocations are scheduled to receive funding- and the four that were denied funding spoke during the hearing pleading their case as to why they should be funded.

Director of Community Development- Amy Odum- talked about four applications that were not funded.

Several discussions took place regarding moving money around to make room to fund those four that were not funded- and a final public hearing will take place on July 7th before going before Council on July 21st for final approval.
